Blutip announces that Peter Carter has joined Blutip as Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing. In this role, Peter is responsible for driving Blutip's accelerated growth across the mining, power generation and other Blutip-targeted markets.
Peter was most recently the Global General Manager for GE Mining Solutions where he led GE's business expansion into the mining market. Prior to that Peter spent 18 years at Modular Mining Systems, a subsidiary of the Komatsu group, where his most recent role was as President & CEO. During his tenure at Modular Mining Systems, he held various leadership roles in business development, sales and service. Prior to Modular Mining Systems, Peter worked for 18 years in different mining operations roles, starting as mining engineer and progressing into mining management with full operational responsibilities for gold and coal mines in Australia that included Hunter Valley Operations, Tefler Gold Mine, Drayton Coal and Callide Coalfields.

Peter has a bachelor's degree in mining engineering from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia and resides in the greater Sydney area.
