Engine Dyno Lab Capabilities

Our recently commissioned engine test cell is equipped with a heavy duty dynamometer, advanced emissions analysis equipment, and high precision fuel flow monitoring. This laboratory was designed and built to support development and evaluation of new engine technology. With these tools in place, we are in a strong position to quickly bring new products to market.

Software Controls Development

Time spent developing solutions for engine management and hydrogen generation has fostered a highly specialized controls team. From hard real time and safety critical systems, to vehicle network and Telematics integration, our capacity to deliver embedded control is extensive.

Design & Packaging

Our products are used in the “real world” of transportation, construction and power delivering on a 24/7 basis. We adhere to a design and packaging approach that is cost-effective in manufacturing while enhancing and protecting the product and minimizing the service and support requirements. As an example, the mechanical and electronics materials selection for the unique Hy-Drive system provides on demand H2 generation in a mobile package that operates in the harshest cold and hot environments.

Fuel and Emissions Analysis

Our company is focused on improving combustion engine (specifically diesel engine) efficiency while simultaneously reducing engine emissions. Analysis projects work with data from engine manufacturers and operators to define what engines currently produce, what a realistic objective can be achieved in terms of reductions and international standards that can be met, define particulate, NOX and fuel efficiency for blended fuels and then develop custom algorithms and control mechanisms for all engines including viable post and pre ignition combustion equipment.


Prototyping

Our prototyping system enables us to detect both shortcomings and benefits early and applies thorough testing. It allows for valuable feedback from industry and the scientific community. As well, the system gives us the ability to avoid project risks and higher costs.
